The Bell Inn, Milford Hill

It seems there was a pub at the crossroads at the bottom of Milford Hill called the Bell Inn.  We don’t know anything about it, but we have this old photo.  It looks as if it is the corner of Milford Hill and Rampart Road, and was taken after the pub closed.  It did not have to be demolished to make way for the Ring Road, but there is no sign of it now.  A modern shop unit stands on the site.
