Feedback from using our resources for schools
Here is some of the feedback:
“The children & staff have all loved the topic we have just done. The MSBP resources have been a great help & added real life stories, artefacts & resources which has helped us bring the topic to life for the children . I hope to do the topic again next year & will definitely be looking to use the MSBP resources.” (Year 3 History Lead on their topic “The 1950s and 1960s”)
“The children loved the artefact boxes and having time to play with the games and toys.” Children were “…interested and enthused about local history” (Year 5 teacher who used Growing Up and Going to School).
“The powerpoint resources are very adaptable and allow the children’s learning to progress in many ways. The children were thoroughly engaged with the drama of the topic and were hungry for more.” (Year 4 teacher who used The Titanic).
“These resources are adaptable to suit a range of learning objectives across a range of subjects. There is a lot of material, and with thought and planning linked to their childrens’ particular needs, class teachers will find these resources really useful.” (Year 4 teacher)
“The children all really enjoyed the experience and it was definitely worthwhile.” (Teacher working with our oral historian)
“Huge benefit for emotional literacy, more opportunities like this for more children please!” (TA working with year 5 on an intergenerational movement piece with older people, under guidance from our dance practitioner).
