  • I have never been as happy as when I lived in Milford St, from the age of 2 to 21. My parents house no 76 was deemed compulsory purchase so we had to go.
I attended St Martins Infants, Junior & Sunday Schools and was confirmed in St Martins Church, when Father McKenzie was there.
Our house still stands, so I don\’t know why we had to go!!
I worked in Fosters Bakery on Saturdays in the office for 2 years before I left school, earning 12/6p a week.
I\’m the Queen of Hearts on the Milford St Bridge Mural. My heart still remains there.
