Resources on Eileen O'Leary

This presentation looks at the life of Salisbury woman, Eileen O’Leary, and in particular her childhood growing up on Winchester Street. You can have a look through the slides below. The actual presentation comes with lots of teachers notes providing more information and ideas for questions / activities for children.

You can download the Eileen O’Leary  presentation below, plus some ideas for dance and drama to complement it.

When you download any of our presentations we would be really grateful to get an e-mail from you (to contact@milfordstreetbidgeproject.org.uk) so that we can find out who is using our resources and let you know if there are any updates. Thank you!

Handling Box Available!

There is a handling box available to borrow free of charge to complement this presentation. It contains some wonderful period dressing up clothes; a little suitcase and personal items such as Eileen would have taken aboard with her, and many other lovely things to bring the subject to life for pupils.  Please see the document below for a list of the Box’s contents and ideas for what to do with it all.
